High School & Prep School All-State Teams: The Legends partner with the NH High School Coaches Association (NHHSC) to help support New Hampshire high school hockey. NHHSC is comprised of high school coaches from across the State. At season’s end, The NHHSC meet and select First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention teams for each of the four high school divisions.
The Legends also partner with the NH Prep School Coaches. The coaches will select their All-State Teams for the boys and girls’ divisions. The eight prep schools in New Hampshire are Brewster Academy; Holderness School; Kimball Union Academy; New Hampton School; Phillips Exeter Academy; Proctor Academy; St. Paul’s School and Tilton School.
The Legends provide certificates for all the New Hampshire High School and Prep School All-State players as selected by their coaches.
Senior All-Star Doubleheader: the NHHSC select the best high school seniors from the Boys Divisions I and II as well as the best from DIII. The DI and II game features the teams wearing the Legends jerseys. Both games will be held at THE Rinks at Exeter on Sunday March 19, 2023. The Division I/II game will start at 12:00 pm and the Division III All-Stars will play at 12:10 pm.
Our Legends jerseys are also used in the annual Make-A-Wish hockey games for both the boys and girls against VT each summer.
History of Hockey in Concord NH: The Concord Historical Society hosted a webcast where Executive Director Jim Hayes talks Concord hockey with four wonderful panelists. Bob Norton, Ken McKinnon, Dunc Walsh and George Chase spent an hour talking hockey here in the capital city. Rumors continue to exist that they might do a 24 hour webcast next year.
