Senior High School All-Star Classic - Doubleheader

Manchester, NH - The New Hampshire Legends of Hockey ("Legends") are pleased to announce they will host both Senior All-Star Classic Hockey games this year.  The games will be played on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the Rinks of Exeter.  At this beautiful dual rink facility, the 3:00 pm game will feature the very best players from Division I, II, and III and the 3:15 pm game will be for Division III players only.  Players should around approximately one hour before taking the ice.

In previous years, there was a Division I, II, III Senior All-Star Classic in Concord and a Division III Senior All-Star game in Laconia.

Booster clubs of the high school teams are encouraged to post this link onto their websites or the school's hockey team site along with the New Hampshire High School Hockey website.

As always, eligible seniors for the games are selected to participate by the New Hampshire High School Hockey Coaches Association at the conclusion of the regular season and selected players will be contacted by the coaches.

Between the first two intermissions of both games, the coaches will run a skills competition for each group.  One player from each game will be chosen to win a Bauer composite stick of a standard stock pattern of their choice.

At the conclusion of each game, a reception hosted by the Legends will take place in the lobby of the Rinks of Exeter for players and their families.

During the reception, players will be invited to come forward to receive a certificate for their participation of the Senior All-Star Classic from the Legends.  In addition, those players in attendance who have been selected for All-State recognition by the NH High School Hockey Coaches Association will each receive a framed All-State certificate from the Legends.  Players will be selected as First Team, Second, Third or Honorable Mention.  Player of the Year and Coach of the Year will also be awarded for each division.  For All-State players not in attendance we will ask coaches from around the state to help distribute.

The Coaches Association may charge a modest ticket price at the door for both games for all attending parents, friends and other hockey fans.

Replica jerseys which will be worn in the 3 pm game will be available for purchase.  Jerseys can be ordered in red only.  Players may select their favorite number and name plates may be added at no charge.  Complete information will be available at the game.
Participating players from only 3:00 pm game only, are eligible to be selected by the New Hampshire High School Hockey Coaches Association for the Annual Make-A-Wish team.  That game against Vermont, is scheduled to be played in July at the University of Vermont.
