2013 Nominations Open - Concord High to be Recognized

Hall of Fame Nominations Open

The New Hampshire Legends of Hockey Nomination Review Committee is accepting applications for induction into the New Hampshire Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2013.

The Legends Hockey Hall of Fame honors the men and women who made significant contributions to hockey in the state of New Hampshire by their participation as Players, Coaches, Builders, Officials and Media. Through our first eleven years, ninety-six deserving individuals have been inducted as Hall of Fame members.

"It is important that any nominee be of high moral character and the Induction Committee and Board of Directors shall consider such matters when considering candidates for induction."

If you know of anyone you feel may be a Hall of Fame candidate, the Legends committee encourages you to submit a nomination form for consideration of this high honor in any one of the above categories.

To be eligible for induction in the player category, your candidate must be a New Hampshire native who played ice hockey at an exemplary level or, while an active player, made a significant contribution to the sport of ice hockey in New Hampshire.

For consideration to the Hall of Fame as a Coach, Builder, Official and Media, the following criteria must be met: the candidate must have made a significant contribution to the sport of ice hockey in New Hampshire. Nominees for these non-player categories need not have been born in New Hampshire nor must they currently reside in New Hampshire.

Go to the nomination page by clicking here. Nominations must be received prior to March 1, 2013.

Selected individuals will be recognized at the Annual Induction Ceremony on October 27, 2013 at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, NH.  In additon, we will honor the history of Concord High School.

If you have questions or need assistance with this process, please contact any one of the New Hampshire Legend's board of directors who are listed on the web site. You may also call the Executive Director, Jim Hayes, at 603-731-4168 or e-mail at hayes743@comcast.net.
