Manchester , NH - June 22, 2010 - The New Hampshire Legends of Hockey is proud to announce the 2010 inductees to the New Hampshire Legends of Hockey Hall of Fame. The 12 new inductees will be honored in an induction ceremony and luncheon at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 5, 2010.

The New Hampshire Legends of Hockey Hall of Fame was established in 2001 to honor New Hampshire's hockey elite --- men and women who have made significant contributions in New Hampshire as players, coaches, officials, builders, or media representatives. Since its inception and including this year's honorees, 82 deserving individuals have been inducted.

This year's inductees include the following, by category:
Coaches: the late Ingersoll "Ingy" Arnold, Concord, NH
Players: the late Daniel K. Stuckey, II, Exeter, NH; Lee Blossom of Boston, MA; Norman "Fat" Pinette of Ormond, FL; Matt Robbins of Merrimack, NH; Jacque Rodrigue of Nashua, NH; Eric Royal of Hampton, NH and Walt Fournier of Berlin, NH.
Builders: Jeff Eisenberg of Bedford, NH and Seaver Peters of White River Junction, VT.
Official: Dick Theriault of Raymond, NH
Media: Ken Cail of Manchester, NH

Each year, the New Hampshire Legends of Hockey also selects an honorary hockey team to celebrate at the induction ceremony. This year's ceremony will feature the original Manchester Monarchs team which began play during the 1970-71 season and finished in 1973-74.

Tickets for the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Luncheon may be purchased this fall through the New Hampshire Legends of Hockey web site at or contact Jim Hayes at or 603-226-4022.

The New Hampshire Legends of Hockey solicits Hall of Fame nominations from the public, both in media announcements and on its website. To be eligible for consideration, nomination forms (and related information) must be submitted to the New Hampshire Legends of Hockey by April 1 of each year.

To be considered for induction in the Player category, individuals must be either: a) a New Hampshire native who played ice hockey at an exemplary level; or b) an individual who, while an active player, made a significant contribution to the sport of ice hockey in New Hampshire. A player's sportsmanship and character are highly-relevant considerations in our deliberations.

Nominees for induction in the Coach, Official, Builder, and Media categories must have made significant and demonstrated contributions to the sport of ice hockey in the state of New Hampshire.
